The way I look at the whole Creed INK thing is that four times this year I spent at least $50 (or shall I say *someone* spent it...hehe...) to spend an average of one and three-quarters hours listening to Creed perform. If 1:45:00 of live music is worth $50 without a shirt, a beer or any other extras thrown in, $50 for a year of full access to a web site, a shirt, a signed picture, a letter from Stappy, 4 issues of Creed INK, a bumper sticker and a membership card should strike me as reasonable given what I spent at those concerts for tickets and souvenirs.

It's not the band, though. It's the band's LABEL. Oh, and lots of bands have hopped on this particular bandwagon and some don't give you half of what you get from CreedINK for the same price. Some don't even have tiered membership levels. I'm not trying to defend anything per se, but I can say that blaming for the band itself is probably not focused in the proper direction.
